Key Capture Energy is seeking a Document Control Associate will be responsible for working with existing systems and establishing news systems for and maintaining all corporate documents, drawings, and records across the corporation. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and should be capable of working well both independently and in teams. The Document Control Associate should be detail-oriented and comfortable communicating all issues clearly to the supervisor and all stakeholders. Experience in software programs such as Smartsheet, Box, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, Microsoft SharePoint and Adobe is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the construction and/or real estate industry. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of being able to manage multiple tasks in a highly demanding environment. 


  1. Establish procedures and systems for maintaining and reviewing documents across the company for all documents including real estate, permitting, interconnection, construction, and operations.  
  1. Work with Development, Construction, Operations, HSEQ, Finance and Legal teams to ensure that documentation is correctly catalogued and stored.  
  1. Establish a system for review and recording of obligations of all final documents. 
  1. Assist teams across the company to ensure proper filing of documents and regular review.  
  1. Create and manage data rooms as needed for external transactions.  
  1. Effectively transmit, store, archive and distribute documents to counterparties in a timely fashion and effectively memorialize changes in content. 
  1. Manage electronic and physical corporate repositories of documents.  
  1. Manage real estate documents including lease, purchases, etc. & coordinate with legal department and title company to have documents recorded. 
  1. Manage land database and collaborate training with developers of the database. 
  1. Support and coordinate cross-departmental efforts that require document control such as Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and procurements. 


  1. 2+ years in a position demonstrating highly functional organizational skills  
  1. Strong written, communications, and organizational skills. 
  1. Flexibility/Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  1. Microsoft SharePoint and Smartsheet experience is desired, but not required 
  1. Should be eager to learn and motivated by creating a more resilient and cleaner grid.
