Key Capture Energy has closed with SK E&S as our new majority owner, accelerating our mission to transition us to the electric grid of tomorrow.

KCE has 274 megawatts (MW) of standalone energy storage projects in construction and operations, a development pipeline of 3,000 MW, and increasingly advanced algorithms for participating in North America’s most promising energy storage markets. The SK E&S-KCE partnership is strengthened by the diversity of each company: SK E&S has expertise in battery storage and the global energy market, while KCE brings deep expertise and capabilities in project development, construction, operations and software development.

KCE welcomes Jeong Joon Yu, Joseph J. Park and Kyungyeol Song to the KCE Board of Directors, joining KCE CEO Jeff Bishop and COO Dan Fitzgerald. Jeong Joon Yu is Vice Chairman and CEO of SK E&S. Joseph J. Park is Head of Global Business Development and Investment at SK E&S. Kyungyeol Song is Head of Quantum Growth TF at SK E&S, leading a special task force for developing growth opportunities in new energy sectors. Their guidance and counsel will be tremendously helpful as we embark on our growth strategy in the coming years.

Both SK E&S and KCE are driven by the desire to build a better and cleaner energy future. Our shared culture of collaboration and teamwork, hard work coupled with a healthy work-life balance, and delivery of world class customer service is founded on our intense belief that we have a responsibility to improve our environment and our communities, both locally and globally.

We look forward to building on our success and collaborating with SK E&S as we help lead the North American energy transition.
